John 316

The moderator "John 316" is a sockpuppet of Ken DeMyer, famous as Conservapedia's resident dribbler User:Conservative. Despite Ken's obsessive secrecy about his name/gender/number/species, "John 316" was unwise enough to PM me in Shock's chatroom and reveal information about one of my recent posts to Ken's blog that only the manchild himself could have known.

Ignore this pointless shitcunt. Talk to Princess instead; she's far more sane and interesting.

Princess Praise

Princess is my favourite moderator on Shock's chat. That's not because of her impartial and rigorous approach to maintaining order, of course; in fact she's so laid back she's horizontal (although sadly not on any of my furniture.)

No, what makes Princess amazing is her accent. She's from somewhere in the Caribbean, not like anyone who's heard her needs to be told that. She has a voice like melted Swiss chocolate dripping from a silk sheet draped over the hips of a Boticelli nude. The constant noise of crickets in the background is the final touch of perfection; just close your eyes and you can see her, sitting on her porch in a rocking chair with a big rum-based cocktail in her hand, relaxed as an extremely relaxed thing and making a very obvious point of not giving a shit about anything dull. Awesome.

Get more mods like this, Shock, and clear out the morons like Shad. History will thank you for it.

Megamaster

Megamaster is another of Shock's mods who's prone to using censorship to hide the gaping flaws in what passes for his grasp of logic.

An example: When it was pointed out to him that christians and muslims worship the same god (a common meme in Shock's chat, often promoted by morons like jitril, is that "Allah is the name of a moon god" - news, I'm sure, to all those Arabic-speaking christians and jews) he replied that this is obviously incorrect because muslims don't believe Jesus was the son of god. When he was asked if jews worship a different god too, because they don't believe Jesus was the messiah either, he accused the hapless questioner of "trolling" and instantly banned him.

Personally I think there's few things as disgusting as a so-called moderator who abuses his powers to silence anyone he can't argue with, but going by the pack of clowns and cowards he entrusts to run his chatroom Shock seems to disagree.

Shadapple

Only Shock could make Shadapple a mod. He really is that bad.

Never mind the fact that he believes science is biased and thinks abiogenesis means "everything came from nothing." Shad is convinced, for some reason, that he has physical evidence that Jesus existed. What is this evidence? It's the "Field of Blood!" So far so good; he's named a place, which is at least physical. Now how is it evidence of Jesus' existence? Well, that's because Judas bought it with the money he got for betraying Jesus (or something like that) and he wouldn't have had the money if Jesus didn't exist. Hang on... Shad, where is this field? "It's in the bible!" OK Shad, but where is it? "In the bible!!" Fine. How do you know that Judas ever bought it? "Because the bible says so!!!"

I've discussed this with the idiot often enough that I'm convinced he really does believe that this is physical evidence. Obviously that doesn't say a lot for his reasoning abilities.  Here's another example of his complete inability to process information. When Shad's wife was serving in Germany with the US Air Force he phoned her one day and discovered that she was in the middle of shagging a German. Her defence, later, was that he'd spiked her drink but that she couldn't do anything because spiking drinks with date rape drugs is legal in Germany. Well, I live in Germany and guess what? It isn't. If Shad's wife had reported it to the police (which she told him she did) the guy would have been arrested; after all she knew his address, having spent some considerable time in bed there. What she told Shad was that the police couldn't do anything because it's not a crime, and he believed her.

I mean, really. In this country it's an offence to hang your washing out on a Sunday, drive without winter tyres when the temperature is below freezing or make sausages that aren't 100% meat. It's forbidden to own a dog whose great-grandfather was a pit bull terrier or to build a model of a Stuka with the correct tail markings. It's illegal to deny the Holocaust - or even argue about the numbers - or flip a finger at another driver who nearly hits you. It's a crime to run out of fuel on the Autobahn or employ people in an office that doesn't have a view of the sky. There is a law against anything that gets in the way of having a safe, neat, orderly and thoroughly German society. But Shad thinks it's legal to drug and rape people? What a moron.

EDITED TO ADD: Shad, I wrote this because you annoyed me. How did you annoy me? You used your "mod powers" to force me to unmute you. As soon as I did, you started insulting me. Then, when I muted you again, you banned me. I wrote this because you're a dick, Shad. You brought it down on your own head. However I'm a fair man; I'll take it down if you apologise and stop being such a stroker.

ADDED 1 Nov - Still a dickhead, I see, Shadwell.

Shock and the Atheist Experience

Shockofgod talks all the time in his chatroom, and in his YouTube videos, about how he defeated the podcaster Matt Dillahunty from the Atheist Experience by calling in. He has a video specifically about this, needless to say. His usual claim is that Dillahunty said "Here's a cardboard box with a unicorn in it, therefore atheism is true."

What he won't allow is for the unedited recording of his call to be posted as a link in his chatroom. If anyone tries to post this link the chat is immediately wiped. Repeated attempts to post it will get you banned. Why? Check here. Yes, the conversation isn't quite the way it appears in Shock's heavily edited version of it. Now, I wonder why he doesn't want any of his fans to see this?

Vivaramones

Vivaramones - as of October 2012 known as "VivaYashua" - is one of Shock's moderators. Ken DeMyer from Conservapedia, who's known for obsessively link-whoring Shock's chatroom as a suitable debate venue, describes him as "the chat moderator." In fact he's just one of several mods.

Viva claims to be studying for a science degree, but has some ideas that might make this difficult for him. For example he seems to think that science is run on a conspiracy theory model, where "everything we're taught to believe is wrong" and a huge evil conspiracy shuts out any dissent from existing ideas. He also seems to lack much of a grasp of what the theory of evolution actually says, but never mind.

Shockofgod

"Oh by the way, atheism is a bunch of crap. So let's go this way. Here we go... Woohoo! You guys have gotta get a motorcycle." - Shock, being a dick as usual.

I'm going to start off by introducing Shockofgod himself; after all he's responsible for the whole mess so we might as well know what we're dealing with here.

Shock's interests seem to be limited to motorbikes, violent video games and Jesus. Quite what the Prince of Peace would make of an obsession with re-enacting the battle of Falluja in Modern Warfare 2 I'm not sure, but never mind. Shock doesn't seem to see a contradiction.

Shock's religious beliefs - often explained in a shaky voice while he rides around on his bike - are the truly frightening thing about him. He subscribes to all the standard fundiementalist ideas such as biblical inerrancy, creationism and America being a christian country (a belief which I'm sure would surprise Thomas Jefferson.) He also has very strange ideas about women, claiming that women in non-christian countries are oppressed and fearful of rape while in christian America their rights are protected (unless they want control of their own bodies, of course.) He has a particular hatred of atheists and repeatedly spouts crap about how atheists are all communists and worship Satan. His favourite catchphrases are "Atheism is madness!!!" and the glorious redundancy of "Provide proof and evidence that atheism is true and correct!!!"

Despite his frothing religiosity Shock isn't above using criminal deception. On one occasion he set up a fake YouTube page to phish the passwords of visitors to his channel. He has also quote-mined obscenities written by a christian and directed at atheists and claimed that they were insults aimed by atheists at himself. He nearly had his chatroom shut down for falsely telling an internet user that GVO, the chatroom company, was taking legal action against him - an accusation that certainly surprised GVO.

One of C.S. Lewis' tedious apologetics claimed that Jesus must be either "Liar, Lunatic or Lord" (missing out the possibility that Jesus might simply have been wrong.) Shock isn't Lord, but he's certainly a liar and a lunatic.
